My best friend is happily home with her first child - enjoying the time together and taking in every delightful moment with her baby.

But as her maternity leave time begins to run out, we’ve talked about the possibilities of her starting her own home daycare business. Why not? It may be the best solution for her to stay home with her child. Afterall, she will save a lot of money on wardrobe, saving her commuting time, and of course the cost of hiring a nanny or placing her precious baby in another persons daycare.

We’ve reviewed the options together and think it’s a viable option for her. Even running an afterschool care program for the neighbouring elementary school could be enough to keep her financially set and home with baby.

Having been an a nanny herself, in her 20’s, she has the background and expertise to run this business like a pro. Not only will she be helping others but giving herself a chance to stay home with baby.

What could be better? It’s a dream job for the young mother.
